The rise of fashion rental services

Being part of the circular economy, we are seeing an increasing number of start-ups and innovative frontrunners offering fashion rental services. Varying from one-time rental of a designer dress to a clothing library where you can rent your daily outfit. Who are these challengers who aim to conquer the traditional fashion retail market? Do rental models in fashion really contribute to a circular and sustainable world? And what does ‘design for circularity’ mean when we make clothes for rent and not for sale?
